Asmin Nimet Singez

Author • Playwright • Narrative Architect • Creator of Dream Butterflies

I work at the intersection of Narrative Architecture, Emotional Engineering, and Sensory Perceptual Design, crafting story worlds shaped by memory, intuition, and the inner logic of feeling. As a visionary artist, my practice spans theater, cultural memory art, video art, and children’s literature, building emotional and perceptual architectures that invite the audience to sense, understand, and transform their inner landscapes. My leadership approach centers on guiding others with clarity, emotional depth, and imaginative vision, helping individuals and communities recognize their own narrative power and expand their capacity for courage, empathy, and self authorship.

About Asmin Nimet Singez

ASMİN N. SİNGEZ

Asmin Nimet Singez is a narrative artist and playwright whose work moves between story, consciousness and contemporary performance.
Her creative practice blends symbolism, feminine psychology and emotional architecture, revealing the inner language that shapes human experience.
Through ANSdreamers she explores dream symbolism, collective narratives and the mythic structures inside daily life.
She approaches narrative as a sensory and symbolic field where story becomes a mirror and a place of awakening.

Selected Playwriting Highlights

• AYNA (The Mirror) – 2004

Selected by British Council Playwriting Program. Early psychological drama, structured as a solo-performed monologue, exploring identity, self-reflection and inner conflict.

VICIOUS CIRCLE  (Kısır Döngü) 2005

Staged in 2007 at the British Council Playwrights’ Festival, Akbank Art and Garaj İstanbul.
A cyclical dramatic structure focusing on emotional repetition and human behavioral patterns.

The play portrays a woman trapped in a 15-year marriage marked by continuous cycles of psychological and physical violence.
The one-and-a-half-hour monodrama unfolds the inner architecture of abuse, revealing how a violent system sustains itself through silence, shame and emotional conditioning.

Rather than treating violence as a single “act” committed by a man against a woman, Vicious Circle challenges the audience with a deeper question:
Is violence merely a personal pathology, or is it a socially inherited mechanism sustained by cultural, familial and emotional structures?

• KUMA (Co-Wife) – 2006/ 2007

A socio-psychological drama examining traditional structures, feminine interiority and the emotional architecture of family systems.

• ÇEYREK ELMA Quarter Apple) Film Script

Short film screenplay centered on symbolic memory and personal myth.

• DAG GULU BEYBIN  (The White Rose Beybîn) 2008 / Published 2009

Published bilingually (TR–EN) by Mitos Boyut.
Accepted into the General Repertory of Turkish State Theatres. An literary drama woven with dark humor, exploring loss, identity tension and cultural memory. The play reflects Türkiye’s peace-process climate by opening a dialogue between Kurdish and Turkish identities through an intimate relationship story.

• DREAM BUTTERFLIES  / Düş Kelebekleri Series (2009–2014)

Fifteen-part dramatic literary universe.
Translated into English, Romanian, Kurdish, Zazaki, Russian.
A consciousness-based children’s imaginary world blending emotional literacy with symbolic storytelling.

• TRT RaADIO PLAYS (50+ Works)

Produced for TRT “Yarının Büyükleri”.
Includes dramatic scripts, narrative-based children’s plays, and musical pieces such as “Dream Butterflies: Space Song.”

• DIYARBAKIR  PLAYS 2012/ 2013

A six-part dramatic composition exploring cultural identity, collective memory and the emotional landscapes of a transforming city.

The cycle includes:
Pré-Play / Stoning, Şemse / The Mayor,
Mass Grave, The Pit, The Stand, The Wall / Chess.

Each piece examines a different fragment of regional memory—ritual, authority, gender, trauma, resistance and the fragile geometry between personal destiny and collective history.
Together, they form a narrative mosaic of Diyarbakır’s cultural psyche and its layered social realities.

Six-part dramatic composition depicting cultural identity, social memory and urban emotional landscapes.

• SET (Short Play)

Minimalist, symbolic piece exploring psychological fragmentation and human perception.
